Tanalís Padilla
Profesora-investigadora de Historia en el Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Obtuvo el título de doctorado en Historia Latinoamericana por la Universidad de California en San Diego, en 2001. Su libro "Rural Resistance in the Land of Zapata: The Jaramillista Movement and the Myth of the Pax Priísta, 1940-1962" ―presentado aquí por primera vez en español― fue publicado por Duke University Press en 2008. Es editora de "El campesinado y su persistencia en la actualidad mexicana" (2013) y actualmente trabaja un estudio sobre las normales rurales en el periodo posrevolucionario, intitulado “The Unintended Lessons of Revolution: School Teachers in the Mexican Countryside, 1940-1980”.
